Pool Pass update (kinda)...

Ladies, I sent the letter on Thursday. I have heard nothing....

Do you think I should follow up or let it go?

I was thinking if I hadn't heard anything my Thursday (1 week), that I should send another email or something?

Advise?

  • I think you should do whatever you are comfortable with.

If you sent the letter and that made you feel better about the situation, then stick with just that.

If you are still thinking about it then go for it. Try to get in contact with them as much as possible, until you get a response.

I would hope that they have the desency to give you a response reguardless of what it might be, or even an apology for the comment made by the attendant. Keep us updated when you decide.

  • I'm the type that would call at 1 week or so to follow up. But definitely do what feels comfortable to you. And also just make sure however you follow up, you're on a good headspace emotionally to stay calm, etc. I would be challenged a bit I think in this regard.

Let us know what you do, congrats on sending the letter!

  • I read your original post and it makes me sick! I also read this today on a blog I follow: https://tinyurl.com/kky3odf

If I were you I would follow up! DW and I have a family pass at both our local zoo and our local historical museum, so it's not like it is unheard of! (FYI we live in Michigan where we cannot legally marry or have second parent adoption)

Good luck and very many positive wishes your way!

  • Thanks ladies! I think I am going to follow up tomorrow. It isn't ok to sweep this under the rug.
