Diaper leakage

My daughter is 17 months old and has been having accidents only at night.  She sleeps around 10-12 hours a night and has been doing so since 3 months old.  Within the last month to month and a half she has been getting up in the morning soaked from the top of her diaper folding over and the urine leaking out.  I have tried everything from having her wear the next size up in diapers at night, to just recently trying the overnight diapers and nothing has worked.  Someone I know suggested cutting down on her liquid intake.  She drinks 26 ounces a day: 8 oz morning, 5 oz lunch, 5 oz dinner, and 8 oz at night.  She drinks every 4 hours.  Any suggestions on how to deal with this issue?  I am tired of having to give my daughter baths every morning and changing sheets.  We go for her 18 month check up in the beginning of July and will have to let the doctor know.

Re: Diaper leakage

  • Maybe cut the night drink and add make a snack drink between lunch and dinner instead.

DS has a cup of milk in the morning, water through out the day whenever he wants it including lunch and snacks, then a cup of milk at dinner.
