Hi,
I was in Babies R Us today and looking at strollers. I went in wanting the city mini, then I looked at the Maclaren Volo and loved that. THEN I started looking at other umbrella strollers... they're actually not that bad! I wondered if anyone had a recommendation for a brand or anything. Of course, I'd love one of the MacLaren but I was actually just thinking of getting one of the cheapo Babies R Us brand ones instead.
We're going on a trip to Europe, so we're looking for something lightweight and portable.
Recommendations? I'd like to keep it under $50... Bonus if I can buy it at Target, because let's face it, Target is awesome.

Re: umbrella stroller recs?
We have a Maclaren umbrella stroller for our 3 year old. I love it! However I get a little weird about it sometimes because it does cost some cash (well, more than a Babies R Us one)... I don't like to get it scratched, dirty or stolen. Sooo, I guess what I am saying is if I were traveling to Europe, I would most definitely get a cheaper one from Babies R Us. No worrying if it gets dirty or scratched by the airlines, on your travels, etc. And as long as it gets you place to place, you really don't need anything fancy.
I have learned that lesson, so with our upcoming twins I am definitely spending less on everything.
Expecting twins! Put on strict bedrest at home after preterm labor at 22 weeks. Hospitalized at 22 weeks and again at 29 weeks. No more please!
I love my Maclaren! Just a word of caution-- The Maclarens sold by BRU do NOT come with all the accessories that are featured as being included when you look at the strollers on the Maclaren website. ie: mine included a rain cover which would not have been included if I had purchased from BRU,I purchased from Amazon instead.
Also, I like the versatility of the Maclaren sun shade extender. It works on virtually all strollers that have preexisting shades. It's very secure and costs around $20.
LOVE our UppaBaby Glux. Though it is above your budget it is an awesome lightweight stroller!! I would feel very comfortable taking this to Europe. There are plenty of women pushing their quinny prams so you won't look any more out of place than any other tourist
