Let me know how the squash works with the pasta recipe works. It would be a good subsitute to let my costumers know.

It should work well! I used spaghetti squash in a similar recipe before. I'm excited because the boys love broccoli and cheesiness. I have some leftover chicken to throw in it. I'm glad you reminded me because I'm going to throw the squash in the crockpot now so I can make your recipe for dinner instead of what I originally had planned on making.

Oh and squash cooks perfectly in the crockpot. I usually do 2 hours on high.

It was really tasty. I was the only one who ate it though. DH only was home for 5 minutes and I didn't have any good Tupperware to put it in for him. I'm not sure why the kids didn't eat it.

Using the spaghetti squash made it a little runny. I guess my only suggestion would be to not make the full amount of liquid with the lemon juice and chicken broth. The squash can't absorb it like pasta can.
