Feel like I can finally enjoy my little boy!

I went back to work on Tuesday, and although it wasn't as bad as I expected (my mom is watching little man so that helps), I have even less time than I thought I would.  It's like go to work, pick LO up, feed him, make supper & eat if I can, sometimes while feeding him, try to fly around the house and clean up & do what little I can, feed again, go to bed.  I was so used to going home and relaxing a bit before he was born, watching my favorite shows, actually being able to eat, etc.  Things are so different now!  I barely have time to catch my breath!  I've been getting him to sleep around 9 and usually go to bed within a half hour of him going to bed & get an average of 6 hours of sleep.  Today I have been up since 3am!

Anyway, now that it's Friday, I feel like I can finally take a breath and relax a bit & enjoy my little peanut.  Hubby is out of town for the weekend visiting a friend so it's just me and my little man :)  I already feel like we're bonding more than ever. It's all so overwhelming but I know it will get easier once we get used to the routine.  Anyone else feel like there's not near enough hours in the day?  Those of you who have other little ones, I don't know how you do i!

24 hours goes by in the blink of an eye. No wonder they say to try to capture every moment! There's no time to take a breath, I feel ya! At least it's worth it :D

It's tough that's for sure! I have a 3.5 year old and I am dreading work for how little time we'll have. Everything will be about getting ready for the next day. My DH and I typically don't get home from work until 6:30 so it's really tough to play, make dinner, walk the dog, give baths and get LOs and outselves to bed. You'll get your own rhythm, which does help, but man it is hard!

I go back to work July 1, and this is exactly what I dread. I am struggling to imagine going from all day, every day with my daughter to only 15 hours, most of which is overnight. As it is now, the days fly by....

I hope it gets easier for you!
