Taj

What do you think of the name Taj for a boy? Looking for an easy to pronounce, unique and modern arabic name. Quite a few restrictions, lol!

I used to be a big deal.  Now I'm just old.

    NMS, but it is fine.

I just want to complete it and say "Taj Mahal," though. That is the first thing that comes to mind.

Suggestions: Amir, Amal, Anwar, Hakim, Nasir, Rahim, Rashid, Sharif

    Agree with the bolded!

    Yep.

I like it. I went to HS with a boy name Taj so I automatically think boy when I hear/see it.

Taj, while it doesn't sound feminine to me, is short for Mumtaz, the Shah's wife in whose memory Taj Mahal was built and named... so I would say it's a girl's name.

    Edited for spelling.
