Milk and Cookies 1st Birthday Party

I have been looking on line a lot lately for ideas on my youngest upcoming birthday - I have decided on the Milk and Cookies theme - it seems super cute and easy! Has anyone done this? Any ideas??

I haven't, but we hosted a sip n' see for people to come meet the baby after he was born and came very close to using this theme because of the whole "milk" aspect with babies.  But we were just going to do a cookie bar and milk bar, decorating with white and blue colors (for a baby boy).

I haven't done or seen it but it sounds cute. Definitely have a big selection of cookies on your cookie bar, as well of different kinds of milk (regular, chocolate, strawberry, warm, cold...)

I LOVE this idea, mainly bc I love cookies.

I would do many cookie varieties, along with white and chocolate milk. It would be adorable if you got old-fashioned milk bottles and colorful striped straws, like what they often have on pickyourplum.com.

We did Sesame Street for DD's 1st Bday but we had a cookie table, i would get little treat bags so people can take their favorites with them. If you are having older kids, i had sugar cookies they could decorate.

Thanks for the great ideas!  I am going to start hitting up garage sales for some clear glass jars for the cookie storage!  I found someone on kijiji selling old milk bottles - just waiting for a  call back!
