UPDATED: I backed into another car today whaaaaaaa

So I have this super duper rear view camera that's supposed to yell at me when I get to close to something.nbsp; Except for today, when it's rainy and gray and the car you back into is also gray.It was in a parking lot and I was backing out of a spot.nbsp; She was stopped in the lane, so I really didn't expect a car to be where she was.nbsp; Luckily, there were no scratches and only 2 small dents.nbsp; The woman was in her car and we exchanged information.nbsp; She wasn't going to but I insisted.nbsp; She said she will get an estimate and let me know.nbsp; No need to get insurance involved if we don't have to.nbsp; I said great and will await her call.Sigh....nbsp; My car is fine, a few paint marks on the rear bumper but they can be buffed out I'm sure.nbsp;Whaaaaaaa.... nbsp; I hope it's less than my deductible.nbsp; I haven't had an incident in over 15 years.nbsp; :

UPDATE: The woman called today and said it was such a small dent that she wasn't going to worry about it. I told her that it was completely up to her, that I was fine with whatever she decided to do. She insisted it was all good and to just be careful next time.. Perhaps my "condition" swayed her.

What a nice woman. I am prepared for her to change her mind though. You never know.

Oh no!  I am glad you and baby are ok.  Did you tell the lady that you are about to give birth at any minute?

I got into a car accident the day before my wedding.  My mind was clearly somewhere else.  Then my friend just did the same thing before her wedding in October.

 If you aren't filing a claim with your insurance, you don't have to worry about a deductible.  Also, the deductible only applies to your car, not the other person's.  So even if they did file a claim with your insurance company, it would be covered 100%

i did not know that... About only paying deductible for my car. See... Never needed to use it.

Colleen, I could blame this baby. Definitely distracted. Maybe it means I will deliver soon? LOL!
