Heartburn during ovulation?

I've heard of women getting heartburn while pregnant but heartburn while ovulating? Has anyone experienced this?

I have terrible heartburn right now and I've had it every day for the whole week on and off throughout the day.

Of course I completely forgot my tums at home. Dayum!

The same thing happened last month during my ovulation week. Can heartburn be related to ovulating? Or is it a big ol coinkydink?

    I don't have an answer to your specific question.

    But I get it a few days before my period. And then usually off and on during my period.

    I should buy stock in Tums.... lol

    Are you eating similar things to what you were eating last cycle at around the same time?  I usually get heartburn if I'm eating certain foods.  Other than that I got no answers for you......sorry.

    I'd assume it was related to diet, not O. My vote is coinkydink.

       Me: IR-PCOS, elevated DHEAs, low progesterone, weak ovulation  DH: low volume, low T
    SHG 5/10/13: both tubes blocked; HSG 6/28 = Left tube cleared! Right blocked.
    BFP#1 7/20/13 EDD 3/30/14, m/c 8/19/13, D&E 8/21/13, Chromosomal results = normal, female
    Lap & hysteroscopy scheduled for 10/31, right tube cleared, no endo found! ...Happy Halloween!
    Cycle 14: Clomid (50)+ IUI = BFP! EDD 9/16/14~ Rowan Elizabeth born sleeping at 17w4d on 4/12/14 due to IC.
    ~There is no foot too small that it cannot leave an imprint on this world~
    New RE June 2014. RPL b/w - negative. SIS looking for uterine/cervical abnormalities & Asherman's 6/10/14 - ALL CLEAR!

    One of the first times I got bad heartburn was in high school. My dad gave me a Gaviscon tablet to chew up. I can't take chewable medicines, I just cannot handle it. I puked Family Guy style all over the kitchen sink. It was hilarious. 

     

    Ewwwww lol. I'm the same way with swallowing them...Recently when I was taking my prenatal, I spit all over the sink (good thing I was standing right there!). Didn't throw up (thank goodness) but was very close.

    I've had heartburn around ovulation before, but don't know if it's actually related or just coincidence.

    Me too. Yay Zantac! OP: I also vote coinky dink. My spell check wanted to change that too kinky dink, which could also be true around O. Wink

    You should write down what you ate when you got heartburn in order to see if there is a correlation the next time.
