Bedtime question

N used to go down around 7:30 no matter what. In the last week, he has been falling asleep after 8:00 which is usually 3+ hours awake time since last nap ended. However, he is back to being fussy in the evenings. I tried putting him down last night after 2 hrs awake time which is what he had been doing consistently up until about a week ago. He fell asleep an hour and 15 mins after I put him down.

Is he going down too late or too early?

He used to take 10-15 mins max to fall asleep and it was always around 7:30. Not sure what changed so drastically.

Any thoughts?

H has just recently started going longer between naps in general and between his last nap and bedtime...Three hours seems to be the sweet spot for him at night. He used to be like clockwork, but he has been staying up a half hour to one hour later at night. And waking up earlier...boo. And he gets VERY pisssed if I try to get him to sleep too soon.

ETA to add that he does get fussy and we know he's tired, but he's just not ready for bed yet. We'll take him on a short walk or do other mellow activities.

Last night I put him down at 2 hrs awake time and it was around 700-7:15. Tonight I put him down after 3 hrs awake time at 7:25. Both nights took him over an hour to go to sleep.
