OT Weight loss?

Is anyone interested in a weight loss check in?

Seriously, I have ten (preferably fifteen) pounds that I need to lose, and I've majorly plateaued. I need some accountability, or something, and I need ideas about how to get more exercise with a toddler in tow. I really want to lose it before we start TTC, and the clock on that one is rapidly ticking down. Anyone else wanna do it with me?

Re: OT Weight loss?

  • I will do it with you. I have probably 15 lbs to lose that I gained back when I went back to work and that's just not right. I have got to get it off.

  • The Health and Exercise board has a weekly check-in thread you could join!  Good luck!

Only if I can check in with how much I've gained....

I'm up for it in 6 months.  By then I'll have an extra 30+ pounds to lose.

All joking asside.  I could use a check in to actually work out.  Whether it's taking a walk or doing some yoga and stretching.  I could use some accountability.

  • Awesome. I'm going to do the check ins on Wednesdays. Look for "Healthy Weight Wednesday" so that way our pregnant chicas can check in too. Smile

  • I'm in!

DS in at the stage where he doesn't care for his jumperoo, so I can no longer use that to occupy him while I do exercise videos. Right now my main exercise is walking with the stroller and two huge unruly dogs. One day last week I walked just under an hour and burned over 900 calories...if my heart monitor is accurate. (That thing has been a major motivator for me!) I also use the MyFitnessPal app a lot, and that has helped.

Btw, I figure I can just lose it all when I'm done having kids. I mean really, what's the point in getting all the way back down to pre preg weight every time?

I have a major fear that if I don't lose it before having another baby, I never will.

I am on WW and would love some extra accountability. I am down about 10, with another 20-30 to go. 30 would put me at college weight and at 34 with a love of wine I don't know if that is possible any more.

  • I'd like to get in on this action. I have 15 to 20 lbs hanging on.

  • Count me in! I have 20 pounds to get back to pre preg weight, and I have an extra 10 pounds to lose to get down to my healthy weight. So, 30 whopping pounds! Yikes!
