Hi ladies...I have heard that the avent bottles leak with the avent nipples, but I also remember reading that there is another brand of nipples that can be used on the avent bottles and don't leak. Can anybody make some suggestions? TIA
I was just about to post a question about this. I started out with Avent but there would be times where when I first tipped the bottle, it would leak. I would have to rescrew it. I dont know if it is something that I was doing or what. Is that what you mean by leaking?
I dont have an answer to your question though, sorry. I switched to Dr. Browns and I love them.

I'm not sure the source of the leaking...I have just heard that they leak occassionaly but supposidly a different brand nipple has solved the problem...but now I can't remember the nipple brand.
I was told about the leaking before too but we never really had a problem. I used them for 10 months with breastmilk and another 2 with formula. Give 'em a shot and see how they hold up for you.

I have Avent bottles. You have to line up the notch on the nipple with the notch on the ring. here is a link with directions..
