Tips for sick baby

I have one sad sick baby. We got lucky and this is her first fever and real illness. Besides the fever she has a runny nose. I just spent the last 2 hours rocking her while she screamed. She finally fell asleep. So sad! What soothes your lo when they are sick?

Humidifier, Vicks Baby Rub and white noise/projection mobile.  And motrin for the fever.

All of this (vicks on feet with socks!) as well as sucking the snot out of that nose.  If you don't have one I highly recommend a NoseFrida.  It changed our lives.

I second the NoseFriday.  It works so well.  We have unfortunately had many illnesses with DD and lots of extra cuddles and tylenol or motrin are usually the only things that work with her. Also, don't know how you feel about tv, but DD loves Mickey Mouse Clubhouse so if she's having a particularly hard time, we'll put that on and it usually calms her down.

We generally give a vapor bath, rub a lil baby vicks on his feet and try and cuddle for a bit

Humidifier, saline nasal drops (I used to suck the snot, but feel like that was causing more of an issue than just allowing it to flow out with the liberal use of these drops), baby tylenol, snuggles

I ditto a lot of the above.  Also you can use a saline solution for the stuffy nose.  That helps a bit.
