Do you tip your daycare provider?

And if you do, how much? We started talking DS to an in-home day care. This is the first week, and I will pay the provider tomorrow. So I am not sure if I should tip her, and what would be a reasonable amount?

No way.  Your weekly fee is your "tip".  Unless she is giving you some incredibly amazing deal where you pay next to nothing, than no.

No way, Jose. Especially with in-home. You're paying the provider directly.

I work in a school and have off for 8 weeks in the summer. She does not charge for the summer so I gave her a card with an extra week's pay at the end of the school year.
