I held my son for naps for 6 months maybe more and am determined not to do it again.
Our daughter's been doing great at sleeping on her own. Every so often we have a day where she wants to be held and will wake every time she is put down during the day. We had one Sunday and again today. Last time was at about 3.5 weeks.
Any thoughts? I see I have yet to learn to not try to figure out everything they do. :

Re: What's going on?
Newborns are difficult to figure out, that's for sure! If my LO falls asleep in my arms for a nap, she will wake up the second I try putting her down and start whining or crying. But at night, at bedtime or after MOTN feedings, she usually has no problem being put down.
My LO also seems to have a difficult time lately falling asleep at home, and our home is typically calm and quiet. But yesterday she had no problem falling asleep at a noisy diner and slept so well that she was an hour late waking up for her feeding.
