I just didn't want to create two different posts.
1. I am planning on getting LO's clothes that she has outgrown in storage. What is the best way to do that? We have a really big storage building in our backyard, but will the hot temperatures cause harm to clothes? We also have a very small attic above our garage. I'm wondering what would be the best place or if it really matters. They will be in a plastic container, so moisture/bugs won't be an issue... just temperature.
2. When do you get your LO up for the day? Do you wait for them to start crying or do you get them before they start? LO was in her crib for 13 hours last night. She woke up maybe four times last night, played for a little while, then went back to sleep on her own. She wasn't crying when I went in to get her this morning, but I figured that was long enough for her to go without eating. What do you do in the morning?
Re: Two Qs (Different Topics)
1. The heat shouldn't be a problem, but if you have an attic fan, that may be best just in case.
2. We stick to a schedule, so I get my guy up every morning. Week days around 6:15 so I can get to work on time and weekends around 7. He's down for the night after nursing at 7 every night, so it's 11-12 hours every night (STTN this way since he was 2 months).
I think either place would be fine. I would be more worried about bugs/moths getting to them more so than the heat.
I let DD stay in her crib until she starts to get fussy. I don't want to leave her in there until she is crying and upset but don't want her to get used to us getting her right away.
1. We bought two of the Space Bags that can be vacuumed down and I have all of his clothes stored in there. They are protected from bugs, heat, water etc.
2. I go get him when he cries
