Are we doing one of these today?  I just had the most amazing homemade chicken noodle soup that I made last night from leftover chicken from a whole chicken I roasted in the crock pot.  It was amazing.  I had a huge bowl and I'm seriously contemplating licking the bowl...  Mmmmmmm

So what's on the agenda for lunch today ladies?

I wish I knew... I pulled my back out yesterday getting of out the car (how boring) and then I had a heating pad on it all day today and finally felt good enough to shower and then I just got up to make some lunch and YIKES, the horrible pain is back. No food for me Trying to call my mom to convince her to bring me food haha.

Leftovers from one of my favorite dishes that I made last night.  It's super easy but not really healthy lol.  It's called "skillet dinner" and it's just elbow macaroni, sliced hot dogs marinated in garlic, onion powder and peper, diced tomatos and swiss cheese.  YUM!

Leftover spaghetti with meat sauce from Monday night's dinner. Boring, but we had a ton left and I didn't want it go waste.

Ds2 and I had chicken nuggets, Ds2 also had fruit snacks and gold fish.

I also had some pretzel cream cheese bites and a drumstick 

 

Dinner tonight is Mongolian Beef with rice

I had tortilla soup and a roast beef sandwich. It was really yummy but I'm still thinking about the grilled flatbread pizzas we will be having for dinner!

Yup, they are known for their Italian beef. They have like 20 locations in the Chicago area and I think they've expanded to California and Arizona now.

I'm having an off day where nothing sounds good, so I'm having a chicken and artichoke lean pocket and some pasta. Then I'm going to have a strawberry Italian cream soda for dessert!

I went to Chik-fil-a to get my normal chargrilled chicken garden salad and found out that they did away with it. I settled for some new market salad and it is no where near as good, is smaller and more expensive. I guess I'll be removing Chik-fil-a from my weekly lunch rotation.

LOVE Portillo's! I had an Italian Beef from this place called D'Agostino's which just opened up near work. It was good, but no where near as good as Portillo's, plus the service was so slow.

I had a salad from the salad bar at our cafe with broccoli, chick peas, mushrooms, spinach, tomatoes and onions.  It was good but I'm not sure it's enough.  I brought some trailmix which I think I'll be digging into by about 2pm.

Leftovers from dinner the other night. Barbecue chicken breast and a twice baked potato...pretty tasty if I do say so myself. Right now though I'm mostly looking forward to the chocolate chip cookies I'm getting tonight. Yum!

A giant, fat sweet Italian sausage hoagie with peppers, onions and cheese. It's glorious.   I used to only be able to handle the 6", but now I can put away the full 12" in a single sitting.  And I wonder why I'm gaining so much weight

Leftover glass noodle salad, asparagus, and grilled salmon. All of which I threw up on the platform of the train station 20 minutes later, so I guess all I technically ate for lunch was a blueberry scone, which baby happily accepted. Guess that's what I get for trying to give him some nutrients.
