Mine is that I know we all have questions and are nervous blah blah blah...I've asked a couple early on in my pregnancy that some of you would eye roll. However, it bugs the crap out of me when questions like "I lost my mucous plug when will labor start?" Or "how long after your bloody show will labor start?" These are all pregnancy specific questions that is different for every.single.woman. And let's be honest, even the women ASKING, the questions knows that there is no answer. And if you don't, than you are not getting your monies worth from your OB. Labor is close..we are all "full term" I've lost my plug twice already and I'm due Sunday.
Wait...so...there is no standard turn around time from plug loss to birth?! WHAT?! Why didn't anyone mention this on the 90 other threads about bloody shows???? What if I tell you what mine looks like? Will you be able to give me a better answer then? My doctor doesn't seem to know, he just keeps telling me it could be tomorrow or it could be weeks from now. What an idiot.

I don't like cartoony looking baby stuff, but I love chevrons.
My very popular opinion is that water retention SUCKS. Lol.
I feel like I'm on the wrong board all of the time. But no, it's the May board!
I'm not jealous of the outside babies... Yet.
I think if you have issues with everyone in your life, then the issue is most likely you. And on that same note, I think it's good practice to go back and read your own posts all at once, on here, on Facebook, wherever, because sometimes you might see a pattern you didn't realize existed in your life, or at least in your reactions to your life.

Yes you're doctor is an idiot! Don't ask him any questions or read any books! Instead...ignore them both and ask random women who have magic 8 balls when you'll go into labor! Duh
I think having an extensive, very specific and several page long birth plan is ridiculous.
My niece and one of my BFF's are nurses in the same L&D ward. They said they eye roll hard and don't read any printed birth plan that's more than a page.
They make me roll my eyes too. Especially if there are full sentences and paragraphs with vidid descriptions of how someone wants every.single.thing. to go.
I mean...do people really think that labor and birth is something they can plan and control? I understand requests like "skin to skin as soon as possible after birth" but some of the requests are just setting yourself up for disappointment, IMO. But I'm one of those "if we are both alive and healthy at the end of it all, that's the best birth experience I could hope for" people...so what do I know, right?
Same.
My birth plan = "Remove baby from body. Preferably though vagina, but not mandatory. The end."
I don't care for the chevron because its so trendy. But I would never pick a pattern like that for my nursery anyway. I feel many people pick it because its trendy. Not because they love the pattern.
I dig flip flops on guys. But I'm from AZ and everyone wears them there. They do whatever Cali does.
MIL is already making plans for Mother's Day. I told DH I'm not making plans. I don't want to go to bruch. Just chill.
Everyone has such good ones today! I also dont care for safari theme or chevron. I do like flip flops on men but DH hates them and won't wear them. Instead he walks around in crocs or other sandals looking geeky.
Also diet coke is vastly superior.
My UO is I think the May board is going through a boring phase as everyone is having their babies! I love the pictures and birth stories but arent there at least some of us waiting to go 40 weeks still?? Where is everyone?
Mother's Day is completely overrated and if your whole day can be ruined by not getting what you want, you have bigger issues than a bad gift giving child/SO/DH.

Flip flops are in my opinion the best option for man sandals. Men are gross in all sandals so they might as well get something cheap and comfortable. My husband wears slip on Vans in the summer, which is also kind of gross because his feet must get so sweaty in there!
Our nursery is city themed but has a chevron valance and cover for the chair. My diaper bag is also chevron. Do chevron haters not like it because it's trendy or is it really not your style?
I don't have a strong feeling about Mother's Day. I always send my Mom and MIL flowers. I'd appreciate some recognition from my husband that I'm gonna be a Mom soon, but I also wouldn't be upset if he didn't mention it. However he is already talking about how he wants a new grill for Father's Day.
What about push presents?? Any opinions on that? I say do whatever makes you happy, but to me it seems silly. But my husband and I share all of our finances so every time he gets me a gift I can't help but think about how I technically paid for half of it.
This is my DH too! Actually he wants either a grill or a new tatto. My inclination is to get him the grill so he can make me dinner more often. So selfish- I know!
I'm actually looking forward to having a c-section in a scheduled, controlled environment with the doctor I chose. It gives me a much welcomed false sense of security and control!!
I hate flip flops on guys.
I hate soda/pop, diet or regular, ewww...
I love Chevron, but have for many years, way before the trendiness of today. I've crocheted blankets in years past to prove it.
I'm indifferent about safari theme, but monkeys are cute.
I can't stand "forced" holidays of recognition - like Mother's Day, Valentine's Day, Administrative Assistant's Day, etc...

Mine is regarding Mother's Day. Of course I plan on visiting my mom and MIL at some point this weekend, but on the day itself, I want to relax. I'm 9 months pregnant and I want a day to be pampered by DH a little, even if that means simply sitting on the couch watching Lifetime movies while he chases the kids around. Does that sound selfish? Probably.
I am right there with you. While I love my mom and MIL and would like to do something nice for them.... They've been moms and been appreciated for 40 years. I'm a new mom and would like a day to chill with my family before things go bananas by bringing number 2 into the world before the end of the month.

You made me laugh... and I peed a little.
DH just asked me why it would be trendy to decorate your nursery like a gas station. Just had to share that.
For me, I don't mind a little chevron incorporated into the room, but I think some people go a little overboard and then it looks weird.
This is too much for me:

Agree! With all of this, actually.

Booo! Our nursery is chevron! It's pink, grey and white! I promise it's very nice! hahaha
