So I had my first internal today and have mixed feelings. My cervix was still closed, I am 50% effaced, but the baby is at zero station....(they could feel her head right away). While that part is good I was disappointed after the no dilation especially since I had some "show" the other day.

 Back to planning on 2 more weeks.

Checks don't really mean anything.  Some women walk around dilated for weeks.  Others go from closed up tight to labor in the same day.  I know it's frustrating to not see progress, but don't worry about it.

Thanks ladies. I was totally in the mind set that I had 2 more weeks to go and ok with that until the other day I had pink discharge (sorry tmi) which I believed to have been bloody show so I started to think it was going to happen sooner that's why I was surprised to not have been dilated yet.
