I'm five weeks and I have had to force myself to eat. For the past 2-3 weeks, I have had no appetite. I have not had any nausea, however if don't eat for more than 8-10 hours, I throw up. Is anyone else in this boat? Any suggestions?
Not really. I'm can't seem to stop eating. Everything sounds delicious.
Ive heard that you can't starve the baby. Keep taking your prenatal vitamin and force yourself to eat a little something every 6 hours so you don't puke.
Yes with my last pregnancy. I didn't have an appetite pretty much all of 1st tri. Just eat what you can manage, very small meals or balanced snacks every couple of hours. This time around, my appetite comes and goes but I do have nausea along with that...feels weird to be hungry and sick to my stomach at the same time!
Up until about 2pm yesterday I wanted to eat everything in sight. Then...literally like night and day I wasn't hungry, and everything smelled and tasted bad. I've been making myself eat crackers...you might want to consider doing the same?
Yes and then when I do get hungry and eat I throw most things up. My diet these days consists of Saltine Crackers and water. I am just trying to make sure I am drinking enough so I stay hydrated. But eating these days is more work than anything.
I am in the same boat! Im 5w5 days, and it started just this weekend but I dont want to eat at all. I have no interest. But I feel a little naseous all day, no vomitting. I am trying to eat small things all day so I dont start vomitting. But I cant complain because my first pregnancy had NO symptoms and it sadly ended in mc. So im so so so happy I have a few symptoms this time around and can "feel" like I am pregnant
I'm the same way... I know I should be hungry but I just feel nauseas all the time... I've been snacking on cut up fruit which seems to be ok for my stomach but not much else seems to agree with me except plain saltine crackers... I swear that's all I've eaten some days!
I'm in the same boat. The past week or so, I have been constantly nauseated and dry heaving intermittently. I just eat little snacks and eat very slowly and that's been helping me. It's comforting to know that this is all temporary!

It will pass, just hang in there.
