Franklin Park/Wexford Area Questions

Hi All! Just moved to the Franklin Park/Wexford area last month from the Northern VA Suburbs. Also, pregnant with our first child, due in early November. Back in VA, if you were preggers you had to start looking for day care immediately due to competition. Does anyone have any recommendations for when one should start looking for day care around here? Also, does anyone have any recommendations for Day Cares in the Franklin Park/Wexford area? Or nanny options? Have no idea how much things cost up here vs. the DC Metro

 Lastly, would love to meet up with others in the area who are expecting this year as well...would be great to build a network of new friends

I just moved back in the area and I'm sending my daughter to Tendercare in Wexford. So far I love everyone there.

We moved from Centreville, VA last year and are living in the Wexford area. What a small world! I have two young boys and we are always up for playdates! They LOVE oohing and ahhhing over infants

Hi Jill,

My husband and I moved from Wexford to Robinson but still both work in Cranberry/Sewickley area. Our 14 month old daughter attends Be At Home Child Care on Wexford Bayne Road. She has gone there since she was 8 weeks old and I could not be more pleased with them. They have gone over and above what I have expected from a daycare. I actually cried when my MIL started watching her twice a week for us. I really didn't want to take her out of there even for 2 days a week. If you have any questions, please ask! Also, side note, I have family who live in Centreville, VA! Lovely area!
