Toddlers: 12 - 24 Months

1 year old refusing food

My DS turned 1 about a week ago and he is now refusing foods that he loved before.  It's really weird.  One time I give him something for instance diced carrots he refuses to eat them and then the next time he acts like he loves them.  He's never been a really big meat eater but has always loved fruit and veggies. Has anyone else ever experienced anything like this?  I do try to give him several different things but no junk.  It's very frustrating and i'm not sure how to handle the situation.  HELP!

Good advice if you are getting concerned about nutrition is to aim for a balanced week rather than a balanced day. He'll grow o

  • Totally normal! It's unfortunately a phase they all seem to go through. It's partly about them trying to make their own decisions.  And I know my DD seems to be worse when she is teething. I do think some food hurts more than others to eat when he
