Anxiety not easing

So I live in Watertown, MA. We were sheltered from any shoot outs, but we did have swat teams and helicopters searching our neighborhood. The entire ordeal was extremely unnerving. I found no relief when they finally caught him, only sadness. Even today 2 days later I am still anxious and on the verge of tears when I think about the incidents that occurred on Friday. No point to this post, I'm just trying to unload in any way that I can.

I am sorry for all that you have been through. If you think talking to someone about the anxiety and your feelings could help, I think you should go for it. TandP's to you and the rest of the folks in Boston.

I'm so sorry. I can't even imagine what you went/are going through. Definitely might help to speak to a counsellor and work on some relaxation techniques. And time. I'm sure it feels long for you but it just happened and in sure it's still quite raw. I ho

I agree with PPs that you should seek counseling.  I can't imagine what the people of Boston have gone through this week.  Hugs.
