Babies: 6 - 9 Months

DESPERATE for sleep!!!

We were down to 1-2 feeds a night, and for the past two weeks now, 6 mo. old baby is waking up 4+ times, often multiple times in a row to feed. She woke up at 1 am last night and cried/nursed for 2 hours before finally going back to sleep. We've tried burping, rocking, singing, pacifier, gripe water... she just screams until she gets food, and even that sometimes won't put her back to sleep for more than 20 minutes at a time.

FYI, she's never been a good sleeper: the only way she naps during the day is in my arms or the sling, and we co-sleep because I can't put her down in her crib at night without waking her up (at which point she just cries hysterically).

My husband is exhausted and I am losing my f***ing mind!! Help!!!!!

  • OH man, I feel your pain! Have you paid attention to how much she eats during the day? If she doesn't eat a lot during the day, that may be why she's so hungry at night. Does she eat solids?
