Short story: I have a psycho boss who is out to get me and I need to quit before I get fired.
Long story: I work in the legal field doing docketing for a large law firm. It is a specialized field and I went into it with no legal knowledge. My supervisor literally gave me 2 hours of training and told me that the rest of the training involved me doing the work and him correcting it. I work PT and have been at the job for 10 months. We have about 1 hour of overlap during the day. My full time coworker and I struggle with the job because there is no formal training, my supervisor changes his mind on prodecure on a daily basis, and there is just a lot of room for error when we are not always given enough information. We both make mistakes, but my boss has targeted me and told me today that if I make another mistake in the next two months, I'll be fired immediately. So rather than risk being fired from a prominent employer, I'm going to talk to another department head about getting transferred, and then quit if I can't be transferred.
I don't love quitting, and I don't love being completely broke, but it sure will be nice to have this stress off my shoulders.
Re: I'm going to quit my job tomorrow

I'm going to try talking to HR but I feel like I'm not in a position to fight it. My supervisor an expert in a field that not many people are familiar with, so if he says employee X ia terrible at the job, people take him for his word. Our directo
