Parenting after a Loss

So, I suck at burping DD

Just hours after my intro, and I already have questions!

Breastfeeding is going very well in general, and I definitely know how lucky I am. The trouble comes afterward, when we need to burp DD. I try position after position, and still nothing. DH is a little better at it than me, but still there are times when we just have to give up and let her go without a burp. I know that's a terrible idea as we're risking colic by doing that. So please, I'm looking for advice and tips! TIA

If after a few min of trying there's no burp, I would just keep your LO in an upright position for a few min instead.

Thanks ladies! The nurse practitioner led me to believe that she needs to be burped EVERY time, so it's nice to know I'm not the only one! We'll keep trying, but I'll quit worrying so much if we can't get a burp out here and there.
