How long until your dr cleared you for light running and or yoga?

  • 6 weeks, just like a vaginal birth.  I ran 2 miles the next day.  Wasn't pretty but it wasn't terrible either.
  • 6 weeks, doing everything felt so great! I missed running and yoga!
  • 6 weeks but I was walking immediately upon getting home - slowly - and at about 3/4 weeks I was jog/walking.  I just took it easy and didn't do anything crazy.

  • 4 weeks post c section...no joke. I didn't run until week 6, but it was fine. At week 7 (today actually) I played a full 90-minute soccer game, although I'll admit, I didn't give it 100%.

  • Doc didn't clear me until 6 weeks. However.. I started daily long walks at 2 weeks PP, jog/walking at 4 1/2 weeks, running at 5 1/2 weeks. I'm now 7 1/2 weeks PP and back to running 5 miles comfortably so I will start to slowly increase my distance now.
