I'm on a mom swap/buy group on FB, for our local area. Well, someone posted a gorgeous changing table for $40. I emailed her immediately (she had just posted about 15 min before). There had been no responses. I kept checking for a reply back. Then I see on the post there is going back and forth, a girl is interested. I messaged the poster first, but she didn't see it. I'm upset cause the girl liked it after bringing a piece of her crib to compare. So now I lost out on a good sale of something I really wanted just because I PMed. UGH!I figured a PM would be seen first.... *cries*

Okay, I know there is worse going on in the world, but I had to rant somewhere.

Maybe she will pass? Those sites on Facebook are awesome but it sucks when you miss out on something you really wanted!

I'm on a swap like that and I always immediately say "PM'd you" when I PM someone about something so that they can keep track of who showed interest first, so to speak.

No she bought it. If I were the seller I would've said sorry to the other chick and said I missed the other girl saying she wanted it first. Grr...but that's just me apparently.
