Tirzah (girl name)

My husband and I are only just beginning TTC, but of course I'm already thinking about names.

What are your thoughts on Tirzah?  I was looking through ancestry info and found this name. The pronunciation is Teer-zuh.

  • I think it's a beautiful name, but then I've always liked biblical/Hebrew names. I've also always heard it pronounced Teer-zah. If I met someone with that name I would probably assume her parents were either Jewish or people who liked biblical names. <

  • I went to high school with a girl named Tirzah, and I honestly love the name. She pronounced it TEER-zuh. It's uncommon, and very pretty IMO.
