How soon after the IUD removal did you get pregnant?

So I just got my IUD out about three weeks ago, and I am so anxious to get pregnant! I have a daughter that will be 3 in September and I want her to have a sibbling that is somewhat close so the sooner I get pregnant the better. My first child was an unexpected pregnancy so the anxiety and frustration of getting pregnant will be new to me. So I was just wondering how long it took all of you to get pregnant after getting your IUD out? And if you have any tips that would be great too thanks!!

Did your doctor recommend a wait time? I had my paragard (non hormonal) out in February and he said to wait 2 months to build the lining back. Just curious about what other doctors recommend.

With my first is the first month trying and with this one, it was the second month trying. I was charting though, so that helped. But as PP said, everybody is different and it can take a year or longer.

I had the Mirena, and my doctor said I could try right away. She did say I might want to wait a month just to make sure my period was regular so I would be able to detect the pregnancy if it occurred. But it wouldnt be harmful if I started trying right aw

I had the mirena as well. I tried for six months (though only had my period twice in that timeframe) unsuccessfully. We ended up putting ttc on hold at that point.

Hey I just wanted to let everyone knw my story... i got my paragard removed 3/28... concieved sometime btw 4/2 and 4/5... positive hpt and just left doc... due date 12/24.. hope this helps..
