I am in a slump and need some toddler friendly dinner ideas. What are you having?

  • DS eats what we eat and some stuff on our regular meal rotation is veggie or chicken/turkey burritos, chicken or chickpea curry - roma tomatoes and spices cooked with water for 20 minutes, pureed then chicken or chickpeas added with some cream and served
  • Sloppy joes (on hotdog buns since the store was out of hamburger ones!), tater tots, and some type of veggie.

  • My kids fav meal is meatloaf. They also love sloppy joes and tacos. Anything with ground meat really.

  • Tonight is probably lentil soup and bread. Yesterday was bean and bacon soup with veggies. Sunday was grilled steak and sweet potato oven fries with salad. I think Saturday was orange ginger chicken stirfry. She eats what we eat!

  • Thanks for all the ideas, I think I have a menu for the rest of the week!
  • DD eats what we eat. Our meal planning menu is rather up in the air right now because DD and I have strep, but over the weekend she had: 

    lobster mac with an apple (we were out and about in Boston)

    grilled chicken, green beans and pot

  • DS is 23 months and he usually eats whatever we eat. He loves veggies, pasta, and most meats. Some of his faves are meatballs, turkey chili, lasagna, and  bbq chicken. If we are not eating with him and we don't have leftovers I will make something sp
  • DD loves spaghetti and meatballs! You can grate a carrot or zucchini into the sauce or meatballs themselves to sneak some extra veggies in.
  • We were running around and didn't get home until 5:15--so she had leftover cold pizza, carrots and cheerios. 

    My daughter wants dinner at 5:15-5:30, so if we are out until then, I am really scrambling for ideas. I hate that.
