Why don't they make reinforced knees for boys' jeans?

DS has been going through jeans like tissue---by being so active, a hole eventually appears in the knee.  His school uniform pants have reinforced knees.  Why don't they make them for jeans?

If they do, please let me know where I can find them.  I've gotten jeans from Old Navy and Children's Place and he wears them out way to fast.

Also - if you take the ripped jeans and an old unneeded pair of jeans to the dry-cleaners who do alterations they will be able to put a jean patch over the rip. I did that for DS's two pairs and they actually look even cooler now.
