oatmeal bath?

DS2 is 7months old and ever since he was born we have had issues with his skin. Turns out he has eczema and we have tried many different things. I would like to try an oatmeal bath on him but I am not sure what oatmeal to use. I have a container of regular Quaker Oatmeal, is that ok to use? Or do I need to use another kind?

I know you said you've tried everything, but our pedi recommended a new cetaphil that has a lotion and a bath.  Don't know if you've tried it, but it soothed and cleared up our guy's eczema in a day.  Good luck!

We use oat flour.  It's just very finely ground oats.  Also, the Cetaphil cream works great.  I bought Cetaphil lotion by mistake last time, and it does not work nearly as well.

We use Aveeno Eczema lotion and Aveeno Exzema Oatmeal Bath when she has flare ups. We love it. Works great!
