Out of curiosity, how much deciding power do you give your school aged child when two of their activities conflict? For example, SD is in a sport and Girl Scouts. The sports schedule doesn't come out until after you sign up, so its impossible to avoid conflict. Her monthly scout meeting and two of her games fall on the same night/time this week. How do you decide which activity is attended and which is skipped?

I either alternate which one is skipped or decide which one is the priority based on whether it is crucial to be there, or is just a fun activity or can be made up later. At face value, I would say in your situation I would pick one game to skip
