It's Friday on the East Coast, even if its not here. So here goes:

I put mascara on doing 75mph down the highway tonight. Yes, I was driving. It was just one swipe on the lower lashes, and I didn't use a mirror. So there's that.

Oh I'm totally into TVD. DH and I watch that and The Originials...he's a Klaus fan. On top of that, I've been hooked on the CW forever...like when it was called something else, I forget what it was. One Tree Hill was my show...like strangely obsessed. I always wanted to go to Wilmington for a shoot to try and meet James Lafferty. Now I live like up the coast from Wilmington, a few years too late. Is it strange I'm secretly hoping to see him or someone from the show when I pick my sister up at the small airport here next week?

I had a sausage egg mcmuffin, hashbrown, and iced vanilla coffee this morning for breakfast. I justified this because the milk in the fridge was bad and I was too lazy to make some toast.

I don't understand why people complain about something like this when it's really as simple as clicking a couple buttons to block the app from appearing on their newsfeed.  Am I a tech genius, or do people just revel in complaining about stuff?  Hint: It's definitely not the former.

So there's a woman on the May BMB who just posted on the first page of our FFFC thread that she's been FFing her baby's carseat since he was 10 months old.  And a ton of people "loved" it.

My FFFC is that, even though I said I wasn't nitpicky about carseat safety, even I am bothered by this.  Maybe I am a carseat safety stickler after all.

I guess my guilt stems from the fact that she handed over the only stuff she saved from my niece without even thinking about it. Her only stuff! I am a huge witch. Nobody has asked if I'm giving her anything. I will def give her things back, and also some things from my MIL. I don't even know if I want another kid! I truly do feel terrible about this.



Ok, I need an explanation on the not sharing. Is it because things could get worn out/damaged?! My SIL is done having kids and has never handed down more than a pair of tights. And she has no other nieces. I think it's absurd. I have shared as much as often as I can. I have cute kid clothes.

Alice was in the front seat of my pickup for the first 10 months of her life. She came home in my truck.

That said, she was always in her seat properly and there was no smoking.

Alright, now I have a terrible confession! I have the straps out of the high chairs to wash, and tonight while I had my back turned, fixing super, Julie stood up in her high chair and fell out and landed on her head! Ugg, I feel like the worst mom ever, and my poor baby has a huge red mark.

Aww, thanks for not making me feel worse than I already do! She was perfectly fine, playing and laughing afterwards; it seemed to traumatize her sister more than anything. K cried right along with her sissy. Poor things!

Legit question based on something i saw today. Which is worse? A 4 y/o strapped in a FF car seat improperly and with a thick jacket or a 4 y/o in just a booster and seat belt?

IDK how it was actually installed. But these boys were in snow jackets and the chest clips were at their bellies. Straps almost hanging off their shoulders.

Dude I get that. I irrationally hated some women at work who announced it after my losses.

my sister in law and I found out we were pregnant within a few days of each other.

Our EDD's were like 5 days apart. Then I miscarried.

Yeah that was rough.

But I got pregnant w Eamonn pretty soon after and they're only like 9 weeks apart anyway. All's well that ends well.
