I'm stumped! One day my 3yo DD1 is all about wearing underwear and going on the potty with maybe one or two accidents, the next day she insists on wearing a diaper all day and screams if i try to get her to use the potty. We've tried sticker charts, M&Ms, toy rewards, every level of encouragement and still I get this yoyo game. And for those of you thinking, just take away the diapers for good, tried that, she just peed her pants EVERY TIME. I ran out of clean underwear, and had to stick her in one of her sisters (16mo) size 4 diaper. I'm frustrated, confused and worried about her being able to 100% potty on her own by September when preschool starts. Her preschool is Catholic and so they can not assist in ANY way, the adults can't even enter the bathroom, which is a normal public bathroom, not a little bathroom attached to the classroom, it's down the hall. Any advice or help would be appreciated. Of all the books Ive read or internet articles I can't find one on this kind of behavior. Im sure she does it for attention, but I dont know how to break her of that. She also cries potty any time she's sent to her room for time out, and at bedtime. I suppose cries potty isnt completely accurate because 99% of the time she does go, but it's as if she holds it till then or at bedtime she holds a little back so she can get us back in her room or so she can leave the room to use the potty. Also how on earth do you go about teaching them how to hold it? Today she was in her underwear and said "I have to go potty" runs to the bathroom and before she can lift the seat she pees all over the floor and herself. And I dont think she was holding it for that long since she just peed 45min before. Urg.... Sorry it's a little rambley, it's late and my brain isn't functioning at its highest level. Thank you in advanced!

Re: Yet another Potty Training question...
it may mean she isn't quite ready.
when they are ready they do it in a few days (day time trained). I personally would just put the diapers on and try again next month. Let it go. Don't talk about it, etc. Then next month wake u

Expecting a 3 yr old to know they need to pee, walk down a hall, take care of all their own needs (including wiping poo and washing hands and buttoning pants?), then walk back to a classroom is insane in my opinion. I don't really expect all that
