Cloth Diapering

Question on selling CDs

So MH and my mom tag-teamed me this weekend.  Apparently they HATE cloth diapering with a passion.  I'm really bummed because I thought it was going well!  I guess they toughed it out as long as possible because they knew it was important to me.  My mom really surprised me because she CDed me, but she said it was out of necessity since the sposies back then broke me out.

CDing is important to me, but not important enough to make them miserable, so I'm de-stashing.  I'm sad that it didn't work out because I put a lot of research and money into the stash.  Sigh.  I'm probably way too sad over this, but it does really bother me.

Anyway, what do you think is a fair price for my stash?  All of it is in excellent condition and very well cared for with no or minimal staining.  Several things were never even used, and some still have the tags!  I was thinking 50% of the original purchase price.  Thoughts?

  • Yes.  I'm gone 12 hours per day M-F.  DH is off 2 days each week and my mom has DS the other 3 days, so they're doing the bulk of diaper changing throughout the week.  Sometimes I do the laundry, sometimes DH does it.  They w

  • Honestly I would hang on to them and get some more "easy" options, and see if they like those better. You would have to invest more money, but if you'll be buying disposables anyways, you can try two or three AIOs. When your LO gets bigger you can just pa

  • Yeah I think you should address their concerns and see if you can continue CDing. If they think the 2-step process is too much, buy some pocket shells and you can use your prefolds as inserts. Just buy a few aplix pockets and see if they work better fo

  • Is there a certain kind they find difficult? I just started CDing, and we have only pockets for the newborn stage. They aren't any different than disposables IMO, so you may want to consider using more pockets and AIOs. You could even unstuff at the end o
