My hubby has a Kindle Fire and he downloaded an app that is like a piano - my DS LOVES it - all he has to do is hit the screen and it makes music - and it changes colors too - and its free (cookie for me!). I think it's called Trinkle.

it just says "animals..." it's a baby app (FREE) and it's by fisher price.

cute little animals and music and when they touch the screen it changes to the next one.

Color Dots. A circle bounces around the screen. When you pop it, two more appear. when you pop those two, three more appear, etc. I thought it was free, but it says $.99 now.

Mine is more of use during naptime because I'm a sucker and rock my 8 month old to sleep still because he REFUSES to CIO, self soothe, or anything!!

Pandora (free), baby einstien is the name of the station. He loves it! Especially if its a slow song - it knocks him out!! I never let him hold my phone though, I'll just hold it in my free hand or lay it on my leg while I rock him.

Sometimes he loves it even if it's not naptime. If it's mommy and me time, I'll pull out the phone and let him look at the picture that goes with the song. He also loves if I sing it, he grins the whole time!

I recently downloaded "iStoryBooks," it reads children's stories and shows a slideshow of the book as it goes along. My son loves it. Also "Kids Doodle," he likes all the neon colors that show up when he slides his fingers across the screen. They're both free apps.
