Re: PCOS and Mirena ...

Does it help the PCOS symptoms? My RE said that I need a combo BC and that the Mirena won't work for me :(

6 failed clomid/femara/TI cycles, 1 failed clomid/ovidrel/IUI cycle
Successful Cycle: 5/12/11 - 1000mg Metformin + 100mg Clomid(late response) + TI = BFP

2/13/12 - We proudly welcomed our daughter, Hadley Teresa!

    I still get pelvic pain, I think it's actually partly because of the Mirena.

    I love not getting periods but it kind of freaks both me and DH out!

    As fr weight gain: I'm pretty lucky to be a thin PCOSER but my twin sister needs the birth control pill to keep her weight under control and feel normal, for lack of a better word.

    Not goldenleaves, but I have PCOS and am on Mirena, so I hope you don't mind me chiming in.  I couldn't do the pill because I was BF, so we went with Mirena.  She told me to come back once I had weaned if I wanted the pill again, but I have b
