Officially migrating to the couch

Sad as it makes me, I think I will be taking up nighttime residence on our couch for the duration of this pregnancy. Last night was my first try and this morning I am the ever-thankful beneficiary of seven - yes seven!! - hours of sweet sweet sleep. I am also, for the first time in weeks, the proud owner of a pain-free set of child birthing hips. Woohoo x2!!

I will miss sleeping by H for the next few weeks, but I'm pretty sure it's more important to be nice to him when I'm conscious than it is to half-sleep next to him every night. And sleep will fix the cranky streak I've been growing in a jif. Happy Saturday to all!!!

I know that feeling. There's no point in being uncomfortable and preventing your H from sleeping as well. It's not ideal but it sure does feel better.

I've moved into the nursery and I get a much better sleep there. I can stretch out as much

I'm in the same boat. Seems like on the couch I am able to better position myself so that it takes pressure off of my hips.

My bed is way more comfortable than the couch and the guest bed so when my husband decides to sleep somewhere else I sleep amazing! I just feel bad asking him to...

Our couch is terrible, otherwise I would be there too. I usually end up leaving the couch to come watch tv in bed because it's more comfortable. If I need a night of sleep without H's snoring I kick him out to the couch, lol. But he can sleep on anything

I've been sleeping in the chair in the living room the nights my heartburn is horrendous.  If MH and I both sleep better I see no problem with sleeping in there seeing as how it's temporary.

I've been on the couch for three weeks. I spent a lot of time there with my last pregnancy, too, so I knew it was just a matter of time.
