Hi ladies. 

DH and I experienced our first loss yesterday. We went for our 12 week appt and it was confirmed our baby had stopped growing at about 10.5 weeks. I had a D&C last night and am home today resting. 

We had been trying for more than a year and thought that this would be our take home baby. The feeling of loss is so much more than I thought it could be for a person that wasn't even born yet.  The sadness of losing our baby after seeing it move and hearing a heartbeat at 8 weeks is so hard. 

 Not sure what I am looking for here just comforted a bit to see that other ladies have went through this as well. DH and I wish we could TTC again right away but b/c of the D&C our doctor is making us wait 3 months.

DD : 20 months

BFP #1 3/13, MC 4/3  :'( 
BFP #2 5/15 DD born 8/15 (25 weeker born due to PPROM)  

Working on growing our family since 3/2017

    I'm so sorry for your loss - you're right...it is devastating. This board is geared for later pregnancy/infant/child losses.  The Miscarriage/pregnancy loss board is probably a better fit for you as more women there will have experienced similar loss
