Like others, I am mystified by the popularity of this name. I can't stand it, and I personally know 5, count 'em 5, kids under the age of 3 named Declan, Deklin, or some variation thereof. Blech.
I like it!
My cute little 4 month old neighbor is Declan .

I like it and think it goes great with your DDs name. I only know one person with this name so I don't hear it often (other then Revenge) and wouldn't think it was weird
We have an (almost 5 year old) son named Declan. We love it (obviously) and have always received good feedback out it. We call him "Decs" a lot too. Honestly, if you keep coming back to it and mutually love it---go for it!

It's not unusual. It's seems to be trending. I don't really care for it. I think it is clunky and I don't get the appeal.
However, I do think it sounds okay with Scarlett (which I really like btw).

I like it! Would I use it? Maybe. It's my BFF's absolute favorite boy name, and she doesn't even want kids.
I think it goes great with your daughter's name.
