breakthrough bleeding update

this morning I was  seen at the ER because my bleeding this morning was quit a bit and real red! The ER doctor did an u/s and I was expecting the worse but there was baby and babies heartbeat. I then seen my OB later today who said on my first U/S there was an area of bleeding they could see and she believes as my uterus is expanding this area of blood is making its way out. She was glad we seen a heart beat  and said my miscarriage chance is 5%. Ordered another ultrasound Thursday to make sure viability still exists. It was a rough weekend but thanking god baby is ok.

    Where did they say your bleeding was? I was told I have bleeding behind my placenta...
    Pregnancy discovered at 12 weeks 12/2007 - D&C at 13 Weeks due to partial Ectopic pregnancy/Body rejecting pregnancy. Last Pregnancy - EDD August 2013 TTC Our first miracle baby.

    behind my placenta  also. She explained there are a lot of blood vessels there and something about membranes it was a lot to take in at the time cuz I def thought I was experiencing a mc.

    I'm not spotting or anything. Only saw it on the ultrasound.

    I hadn't bled or spotted either until 8 weeks 2 days. If I didn't know I was pregnant I would have thought it was my period. It was right on time with it.
