Hi all!
New to The Bump and was hoping to get some other insight on our TTC troubles. We aren't in any rush, but I was hoping to hear from anyone who has/had similar situation. We want to try on our own before turning to fertility treatments.
Facts:
- we are both young, no kids or previous pregnancies
-irregular cylce (ranging from 40 days to 84) due to hormones
-always heavy 7 day period
-small polyp in uterus
-been TTC since December
-OBGYN says we will have to be on clomid, describes me as "irregular ovulation" rather than never ovulating.
Right now we are trying to decide if we should keep trying on our own, or when we should go for the clomid. Thanks for your help
Re: New to Bump, TTC w/ trouble
It's kind of crazy for your Dr. to put you on clomid when you've only been trying for 4 months. It can take a normal couple (no problems) up to a year.
Also clomid is a very serious medication. There is a lifetime max of 6 cycles.
