Mama-facing Stroller Options?

With E I didn't use a stroller until he was quite a bit older (12mos+), as we mostly took advantage of babywearing.  But with two, I'm sure a stroller is going to be a necessity.  So my question is, are there any good double stroller options where babies face mama instead of out into the world?  I should rephrase - any good options that won't break the bank?  I'm loving the Buggaboo ones, but I could never spend $1,500 on a stroller.  Any good recommendations?

Re: Mama-facing Stroller Options?

  • With DS, I used a snap n go while he was in the infant seat and held off of on a pricier stroller option until I had a better feel for what would work for us. We ended up getting a BOB and loving it but I would have never thought that going into it. <br

  • We decided on the Contours Options LT Tandem.. You can flip the seat to face you or away or each other. You can also use two car seats with it as long as you have the adapters. Retails around 250.  Seemed to get good reviews. Won't know until the boy

  • Also, are there double snap and go's? I didn't see any. That could be a good option like pp said until I figure out what would best suit our needs.

  • I splurged on the bugaboo because I wanted a parent facing double that would work in the snow.
I don't regret it and have taken good care of it so I'm thinking I can get a large amount back in resale.

  • I am happy with my city select. One nice and easy option is also baby wearing one and strollering the other, as it converts to a single easily you kind of have to snap the seat off every time anyhow which isn't a big deal. It is a little pricier but not b

  • We also use the Contours Options LT Tandem with the car seat adapters and love it.  At around 2 months I also started just putting them in the seats at the farthest incline to go for short walks.  Putting the Boppy Noggin Nest in also helped to
  • I probably won't be much help because I LOVE the Bugaboo Donkey.  I find it very versatile and it's so easy to maneuver.  On the flip side, I hate the DSNG.  It's so hard to maneuver and the handle broke after it fell out of the trunk once.

  • cool, i checked and its the valco double spark

i wonder why more people dont talk about it on these boards, i never see it mentioned

  • Loved the double snap and go to start then the Citi Mini GT!
  • The baby jogger city select with the second seat and car seat adapters has been a lifesaver for me!  It will come close to you $1500 budget, but is worth every penny.

  • I have a double snap and go, which we use most. I also have the baby jogger city mini double and I bought the mini prams to go with it so thy were facing me in that too. We used that daily for walks around the neighborhood in the fall.

  • I have the stroll-air and really like it!  It comes w/ rain/mosquito covers and foot-muffs too which was nice as those are add-ons with others.

  • I was going to suggest the Valco Spark Duo as well. I think it looks awesome. Much cheaper (and narrower) than the Bugaboo Donkey and better looking than the StrollAir My Duo.
  • Forgot to add- the Valco Spark Duo seats convert to bassinets, so you don't have to pay extra for them. I personally don't recommend the Snap N Go because it's not recommended for infants to stay in their car seats for long periods of time. Convenient, ye
