Not sharing baby name?

We are not sharing names.  We aren't finding out the gender either.  We have a girl and a boy name picked out.

The only way we will be sharing before birth is to say "This is the name we have chosen." Not "We are considering..." because that gives people the notion that they can have an input. If it's decided they may still try to say something, but you can cut th

We'll tell the sex (if we find out), but not the name. We did the same thing with DS because we didn't want people's opinions. We also didn't have a name picked out for sure until he was about 12 hours old anyway.

We feel exactly the same way! We have decided on names that are special to us and we do not want to have to hear others 'question' why we have selected the names we have.

We just told people we had a list (that we weren't sharing) and were deciding after baby was born (which was true).  I didn't get too much flack- I think my mom was just glad I found out the gender since my sister didn't.

We shared our list last time before we narrowed it down and got a million unnecessary opinions. This time, we'll share the name and say "the name is...". Once I'm set on a name, I could care less what anyone thinks or says about it.
