From formula to milk

Hi Ladies!  My DD just turned 1 year today and I am curious about your experience with switching from bottles to a sippy with milk.  DD can drink from a straw cup and if she is thirsty will drink a 6oz sippy of water in a reasonable period of time.  She is fine with whole milk from a bottle.  However, if milk is in a sippy, she only takes a sip or two and then won't really touch it.  The first time we tried milk, we put it in a sippy, so at first I thought she just didn't like it but then she drank a bottle of it.  We go to the pedi in a couple of day so I will get her ideas too.

We had to pack up the bottles altogether, because if he could see them he wanted them...only at night before bed.  Once we did that, it was smooth.

Have you tried offering formula in a sippy cup?  When we made the switch we tried whole milk to see how they did and they drank it fine, so from then on we started giving them mixtures of formula and milk in sippy cups (starting out as mostly formula

I never put milk in a bottle.  I figured that was just asking DD not to give up her bottles for many more months.  I mixed milk with formula in her sippy for the first week or so after she turned 12 mo.  Then she was on all milk in a sippy
