Who is here this morning?!? Well its Tuesday again, one day closer to clicky poll Wednesday... We really should have a theme for each day, Friday has sort of turned into PIP Friday. Does anyone have any suggestions for the other days?

QOTD: What are some of your biggest pet peeves? The things that REALLY irk you!

A: People that chew loudly with their mouth open, its very disturbing to me. People that drive slower than the speed limit, especially when I'm running late. When they forget to put something in my bag when I stop to get fast food, its called FAST FOOD not take your sweet a$$ time and then forget to put my spoon and granola for my parfait in my bag... how the F are you supposed to eat a parfait without a spoon??

A: When the only male coworker in my office cannot do his job right and no one does a darn thing about it. Come on now, you've been here over a year and still do not have office responsibilites because they cannot trust you! And because of you, we all have to pick up your slack to do your job and make our institution look good.

Good morning! I really need my puppy to start going to bed the first time we put her down, not crying for an hour....I am exhausted!

Pet Peeves: I hate it when drivers speed up just to pull right in front of me and then slow down so I have to hit my brakes! People who walk their dog off the leash and then it runs up to my dog and nips at her, and then you tell me that your dog doesn't do well with other dogs....put your dog on a leash then!

I feel you pain on this one, we have a girl thats been here 3years that is the SAME way... I have gotten to the point where I quit helping her out with stuff and have had to basically tell her to figure it out herself... shes been getting in a LOT of trouble lately

QOTD:  The thing that bugs me most right now is entitlement.  I hate when people think they deserve something more than others when they truly do not.  My students and their parents are the best example.  I recently had one go all the way to the asst. superintendent because he wanted his kid moved out of a class for a silly reason, and the principal had already denied it..  He got it.  Drives me up the wall.

I know, she never used to be like this-this is a new thing! Tonight she's going to bed earlier because less than 6 hours of sleep is killing me! It's like she's suddenly having separation anxiety at 6 months old. I have no idea whether this is a result of the spaying or something....

QOTD: People who talk with their mouth full of food. It grosses me out to no end. DH did this when I first met him, and I have been molding him to cut that sh!t out. I see that he learned it from his family though. Blah. Also, people who chew their gum like a cow, people who put their chewed gum on a plate while they are eating to later put it back in their mouth.

Oh no kidding... the gum thing gets me all the time. Especially when I'm talking to someone on the phone and they are snapping their gum, that pisssses me off to no end!

Read the fine print, listen to what people have told you a dozen times, or deal with consequences. It's really not that hard...I also hate people that throw garbage/cigarettes out of the car window. Is it really that hard to just keep it there until you get to your destination. Especially smoking, it's your dirty habit keep it to yourself.

We have this too, except it's a female. She's been here 8 or 9 yrs, you think she'd know so many basic things or at least prepare for meetings and look professional. But no, she wants to be promoted to 2nd director while wearing elastic waist floral skirts or denim to high-power meetings, become completely flustered and emotional in weekly staff meetings, and can't give simple directions. And honey, if you have 800 messages in your inbox, you're not that popular, you really can't manage your email. Incompetence with senority and tenure sucks.

About the littering thing... it really makes me mad too, ESPECIALLY when someone throws a butt out the window and it bounces up and hits my car... things get ugly... really ugly.

QOTD:  I can't stand people that don't wait for you to exit the train (or an elevator) before they barge in, mouth breathers and I definitely agree with the whole "entitlement" thing, so many people (and parents) are in the mindset of do no wrong and it drives me insane.  Whatever happened to just saying, "I was wrong, I'm sorry:"

qotd: when people chew their finger nails (both if I see/hear it and to see their gnawed on nails). people not leaving their phone number on my voicemail (work related) like I have time to get your file out every single time. umm. . there are like 1000 more, but I can't think yet

Pet Peeves: I am a teacher and gum chewing drives. me. nuts!   But not just regualr gum chewing, chewing really loudly with your mouth open!  I tell my students if I can hear you chewing, then you are chewing too loud.  I walk around with the trash can sometime and make them spit it out.

I hate that! People use cell phones way too much. It irks me when people are on their cell chatting it up about nothing when they are in the check out line of a store. I think it is just really rude towards the cashier. Not everyone needs to hear what Johnny said to Kerry at the coffee shop after spending the day with Jen.

QOTD: that nobody replaces the empty roll of toilet paper when it is out in the office--i often wonder if they pull that at home? that my coworker spends all day on FB but wants to be the first one out the door because she's had "such a hard day". lots of work frustrations this morning and it's only tuesday, lol another big one is people chewing loudly with their mouth open while they eat. :P creeps me out like nails on a chalkboard.

My big-time number one peeve is when people are disrespectful of of people's feelings. Seriously... were they absent in the school/church/life they day they taught people to treat others the way you'd like to be treated. Just don't be an @ss.  It's pretty simple.

Not listening is the other. (And I'm talking to you sturbucks barista who gave me regular instead of decaf last night so I had cramps till 3 am.)

QOTD: I hate when I can hear food being chewed, gum being smacked, etc. That is the most annoying thing EVER. I was taught to chew with my mouth closed.... I hate going grocery shopping and people pulling their carts out in front of you, people who don't use turn signals, when DH leaves coffee grounds on the counter (ahhhhh), and unkempt looking pregnant women. Drives me nuts. If you're going to be in my face at least look decent.

QOTD: People who constantly try to one up others.  For example:

"I'm not feeling well today.  I think I might have a bit of a cold."

"Oh really?  Ya, I feel like I'm getting something as well.  I think it might be pneumonia.  Or maybe the bubonic plague."

Also, people who don't signal when they are making a lane change or turning.

A: People who drag their feet.  I have a good friend here in the office who I love to pieces but sometimes she just drags her feet on the carpet.  Really?  Can't you pick up your feet?

Pet Peeve- People that drive in the passing lane and they are not passing anyone! They end up slowing down the entire hwy's traffic and it drive me nuts! The left lane is supposed to be for passing.... if you aren't passing someone scoot over so someone else can.....

QOTD: Tapping pencils (my kiddos in class). Loud volumes on cellphone keypads while people text away in waiting areas etc. Turn it down! People who interrupt you while you're speaking after they've asked a question.

Pet Peeves: smackers, and people whol just eat loud in general, the fast food thing pisses me off too, when people don't clear the microwave (the time or whatever), people who don't use turn signals and slam on their brakes just before they turn, gosh I have so many more but can't think right now.
