What seat would you get?

Callum is currently in an old style Marathon.  Eleanor is in an old style Roundabout (which she's about to outgrow and that will also expire soon).  I want to keep E rear-facing for at least another year.  Callum is FF.

I'm thinking I should move E to the Marathon and get a new seat for Callum (want to keep him harnessed.  He's an average height 4 year old and probably about 37 pounds?

What would you get?

Move Callum to a Frontier.

I would look at combination seats for callum and pass his marathon down. The frontier is good, so are the recaro prosport, graco nautilus, evenflo securekids and harmony defender. Any of those have tall enough tp harness slots to last until he's mature en

I believe the evenflo securekids is the narrowest, although I'll admit I'm not 100% sure. The frontier is incredibly wide, so if you're looking for narrow at all cross that off your list. Ditto gimmitimmies about the radian not really being a useable boos

Hmm...interesting.  I think we have probably another year if not longer before we hit 40 pounds.  I think we'll hit the "sit correctly" milestone first as he's a rule follower ("Mama, you really need to turn your turn signal on!").

The radian only becomes a high back booster, not a backless. The issue with it is that it's outgrown for height around the same time as a booster and as a harness since the headrest doesn't move up. My older one hit the height limit at 4 years and 40 l
