No More O2!!

So excited to report that on Fowler's 11 week birthday...he is oxygen free!! We are beyond excited. I wqs hoping he would move to a crib tomorrow and be home very soon! Today I have had and eye infection so I stayed out of the NICU and watched feom the window. He had a different nurse today and she tubed the last 1015mL of his feeds saying he was tired. Granted they were his first feeds off o2 but did not report he was breathing fast or desating...so I wonder how much she really pushed him? Oh well, maybe we can get out regular weekend nurse tomorrow and our favorite doc is back on starting tonight.

I just had to share becaude we would have never made it through without you all! Also, I hope this will encourage someone who wondering if their journey will every progress or be over...it WILL!

Fowler was a 26 weeker. I understand feeling stuck in a phase. He was on the oscillator for 21 days...and cpap for about 5 weeks. The days sometimes pass slowly but they do pass!
